Another with hdmi output limited to 1080p... Really don't know why they are doing this. My 4 year old lenovo budget laptop was just to drive my 1440p screen without any problems.

So heat it you don't drive an external monitor, but not for me thanks.

250 nits is low. can you even see the 120Hz?
    sergiup's avatar
Your eyes can only see 24Hz anyway

Check your Dell Rewards balance - I have a feeling they may have added extra points to those affected by the recent hack.

    No extras added

I have this laptop I got it in the last deal but with the iris thing. It's a great lappy and food £ for the specs. The screen is bright enough

IPS brigade be here soon to complain
    -LG's avatar
Is WVA IPS? I heard it was some kind of copyright issue where they cannot use the term IPS? I'm not sure if this is true at all.

Would vote hot if this was 32GB RAM, 4TB SSD and UHD touchdisplay.
Voted hot anyway because it’s a good deal.

    ...for this price?

This looks suspiciously like the same chassis with all the hinge issues. We've had several Dells with the same display/lid at work where the display hinge at one side or the other has pulled away from the screen and cracked it.

Yep, we had a load at work that broke and Dell said most were user damaged and refused to repair, so was a big cost to us with this very bad design flaw.

I won't touch Dell again after their attitude and unfit for purpose hardware. They must know it.

This turned up today, very surprised it’s not USB-C charger. Really disappointed

How loud is the fan on it

I try and understand this stuff but can never do so. Would it be OK for general browsing, iTunes and the occasional light video editing?
    -LG's avatar
    Of course.

This or a HP Probook 440?

    Any comments welcome, thanks

You really have to be more specific, which model, and how much would it cost you?
