Features & details
Back on the Case - Detective Pikachu Returns is coming soon, exclusively to Nintendo Switch!
Welcome to Ryme City - A place where humans and Pokémon live side-by-side. In this bustling burg lives a gruff, tough-talking (but surprisingly lovable) Pikachu who loves coffee and calls himself a great detective.
Two Heads Are Better than One - This Pikachu works together with his partner, a young man named Tim Goodman, to solve a series of mysterious incidents that are occurring within the city.
Start the Investigation - We hope you look forward to the mystery-filled adventures of Tim and his chatty Pikachu pal – a sleuthing team that only the world of Pokémon can deliver!

This can be got off eBay for under £20 for a new copy. It's the Japanese version but plays fully in English and a pretty decent saving (edited)

No you can't. Not that low, £30 is about the best.

I found it tedious, the character dialogue goes on forever without good reason. You spend a lot of time backtracking across the town, only to be sent back again. Not good for reading-averse kids (mine are dyslexic), as only some of it is voice acted.

Is this no good? Cheap for a Nintendo game and not much heat

It's ok, its aimed at young kids though, its not much heat as not a great deal, can be found £10 cheaper currently on eBay if you don't mind a Japanese box

Less than £11 at Amazon Japan, or below £17 including a trading card which you can sell for decent money on eBay if you want to get the absolute cheapest deal overall. The Japanese version supports English. Of course, the shipping brings it close to this price, but I would recommend if you want to order anything else from Amazon Japan, pack them up together and you will get a good deal. Lots of Japanese games have English support and the prices are fantastic because of the exchange rate right now.
