Classical-looking off-road shoes with a highly adjustable lace-closure system. The dhb Dorica MTB Shoes (Camo) add a touch of class to your kit list and deliver outstanding comfort and versatility.

The dhb Dorica MTB Shoes are versatile cycling shoes that can be used on the trails, for commutes or even for your indoor cycling class. Laces offer riders the opportunity to gain the right balance between a security and comfort. For MTB, gravel or cyclocross riders, they have the added bonus of working no matter how clogged with mud they get.

Perforated holes on the top of the shoe increase breathability. The perforated tongue also helps increase airflow, and shapes over the foot for added comfort. The upper is robust, protecting against contact with the terrain or bike, and the toebox can accommodate a slightly wider forefoot, or a thicker pair of socks for cooler weather rides.

Fitting notes

dhb shoes fit true to size. This means they often come up smaller than other cycling or triathlon shoes. We recommend you buy these shoes one size smaller than your usual cycling shoe size.

With these shoes what cleats and pedals are compatible? Can I just buy any clip on pedals? Also can I use them on a road bike? Sorry for sounding daft. Any help will be appreciated

They are 2 bolt so mtb SPD pedals rather than road SL SPD which are 3 bolt (triangle) if you buy Shimano they come with cleats to attach to shoe Shimano M420 are popular and can be had for £20

On sizing, mine arrived on Monday in a 45 (size 10) as the 46 (size 11) was out of stock when ordering, based on previous feedback the 45 is bigger than expected as it fits my feet perfectly so might help to order a size down if anyone thinks their size is out of stock.

    Hot.

I've got 2 pairs. White and Camo. They can take a beating and the sizing is fairly accurate. The laces work great as long as you get the tension right first time and don't need to adjust....

    Bargain for £25.

Call them if they are not dispatched and get £25 back as they are £12.5

Freak people out as you ride by with a pair of leg stumps hovering a few inches above the pedals.

Further reduced now to £12:75 seems a great deal now

I'm getting suspicious now, this is a crazy price: £10 now, wtf?!

Well mine have arrived (didn't pay for next day delivery but got it anyway) and they seem fine, quite plasticity but much lighter than I expected and seem a genuine bargain

Anyone know how sizing on dhb compares to Northwave?
    Zimmy's avatar
These are true to size or even big unlike other makes. Quality does not compare to Nw! But ok at this price. Hard plastic soles and stiff plastic upper, not great breathability or comfort imo but you get what you pay for.

Clears will cost more than the shoes.
    martin.gorringe's avatar
No they won't, £6:49 on eBay

    Now reduced further £10!

It looks like the cleat issue was the road model Dorica Carbon, can't see any reviews on Wiggle or ChainReaction mentioning cleat issues with this MTB model.

I have a pair of both, but the MTB pair are in the spares box, waiting to replace some old commuter shoes. These MTB Dorica are much more basic, very plastic feel to the uppers and the relatively chunky tread is a very hard plastic... Which looks like it has a lot of potential for slips on smooth surfaces, especially in the wet.

But for ten squids, knock yourself out, my pair in a sale autumn '21 were ~£35!

    £10 !!
Was disappointed to see only 40s left as I'm 41, then I read all the size-down comments so grabbed a pair. So hope they fitt, what a bargain!

Are these free of the defect that plagued some of the DHB shoe models last year, as regards problems with the cleat attachment plate?
    bornagainst's avatar
I've ridden a white pair of these for a long time. Never had any cleat issues.

My current pair of SPDs are the first MTB SPDs ever made, so probably time for a refresh.

Thanks Op. Ordered as a spare pair for the van

If anyone has bought a pair of size 44 and finds them slight small, will swap for a pair of 45s 😄
    Bencrossji's avatar
Hey, I might take you up on that offer, the 44s are a bit tight on me (I would usually wear UK 10.5 so I think i actually ordered too small?
