These Drivetec batteries used to be rebadged yuasa 3000 series, now they appear to be a different manufacturer, as the battery I got recently doesn't have a magic eye.

I needed a 096 battery last week, my mechanic told me not to buy a Lion battery, it won't last and the guarantee is useless.

Bit confused on the deal here? It's what I'd expect to pay for an unbranded battery.
You can get similar for £55 delivered or an Exide for just over £70.
