I took a chance and bought a 5.5 in the blue. They arrived today and are equivalent to an adult size 38.
Hope this helps

So, almost bought until I saw these might be toddler sizes i.e. 5.5 (Euro 22 and not c38)?

Is that correct does anyone know...I was looking for a few pairs for my 3 daughters aged 9, 11 and 13 and shoes sizes 4, 5 and 5.5!

I've made this mistake in the past with Converse off Amazon...suffice to say my 13 year old wasn't impressed when she saw the size of the shoe...epic Dad fail!

DM joggers.....what ever next.....?

actually you use d to be able to buy DM trainers back in the day...At least they had them in my mum's Kay's catalogue.

Bought a different pair in the sale. Thanks.

They look a bit remedial

I'm so confused, it's like half formal half casual (and no it isn't smart-casual). What occassion would you wear this to look the part? It looks too formal to be worn around town, but no where near formal enough for work or a night out.

This is like those Timberland high heels - just a very strange mismatch of opposites which looks awful and makes no sense.

I made one pair of 8's last two years while using them as work boots, and they were on my feet for nearly 10 hours everyday. I then had them resold and used them for a while longer until the toes wore through. I thought that was pretty good considering the abuse they suffered.

Every pair I've owned the last forty years, split/detaching soles, separating uppers, tearing heels, disintegrating insoles, stitching tearing out and leather crumbling. Never had a pair last much past a year before they leaked. I only bought them the last fifteen years because people on ebay can't spell - docs dockies dockers DM's martins, gets the price on new/nearly new as low as £1.20 last year!

Not sure about the quality shoes that last for years claim. The leather … Not sure about the quality shoes that last for years claim. The leather is not what it used to be with the Chinese manufactured ones for sure. If anyone wants quality Dr Martens boots they would need to buy either the Vintage Dr Martens ones still made here in England or sacrifice the tag altogether and buy Solovair branded ones from the NPS Shoes factory that once did Dr Martens.

You can still buy DM's from the village outlet shop (although some of those prices are still high but must be cheaper than the shops!). My 1st pair of Solovair rejects cost me £5 and lasted me many years - in those days it was who you knew in the factories to get you the best prices!! The owners of the original DM factories in the village would turn in their graves if they saw some of the items being produced these days!!
