I have dermatitis, the sort that Dermovate can knock back with one application. Dermovate doesn’t cure it but keeps on top of the problem. What I’ve found through trial and error is that Dermovate is very drying for my skin. Two applications can cause cracking, so I need a general, all-purpose cream to keep my skin hydrated after I’ve knocked a flare-up of dermatitis on the head with Dermovate. In steps E-45. It does a good job, and definitely better than other creams such as QV, La Roche-Posay, Aveeno and the like

I've had Seborrheic Dermatitis for about 12 years around my nose, eyebrows and behind my ears. Also get it on my scalp, but using a shampoo for that.

I've been using sensitive moisturiser to keep it under control for years, but I'm always on the edge of breaking out, it takes very little to set it off and then it's hard to get back under control.

Recently I've started using this E45 in combination with Clever Soap 1% Piroctone Olamine Face Wash With Salicylic Acid (full name so you can find it) and my skin feels the least sensitive it's been has in years. It feels smooth, matt and strong, I'm not scared to touch it now! (Normally I hate anything touching the skin around my nose). I don't feel like I'm on the edge of breaking out anymore at all, which is so good.

Hope this helps someone else with Seborrheic Dermatitis because I've had a nightmare trying to control it until now!
