sorted byIt’s not the greatest week agreed. The Hard Way is finally on sale though so at least that is an instabuy for me
Happy days it’s true
When the list is finished you will see the This Week At The Movies banner in the post
Previously bought back to the future 1/2/3 has been officially upgraded to 4K.
For some reason the one on sale ATM are not upgraded.

Can't say I've ever noticed ads that you can't skip past.
It’s seems to be recently the studios localising the store IDs so the UK & US listings match, however I’ve just checked Pulp Fiction and it seems theres also been a change in studio ownership.
The previous listing in both the UK & US were under Lionsgate, whereas the current listing is now under Miramax.
I just started with that one while I began adding the list
Shame it’s not in HD
I checked the US store just in case but not HD there either. Amazon Prime Video though does have it in HD for £3.99
What - the one with Fassbender doing a terrible Steve Jobs ? It was dreary and tedious. It was a monumental box office flop.
The movie "Jobs" with Ashton Kucher was FAR better - I didn't expect much but thoroughly enjoyed it. But with "Steve Jobs" I switched it off before half way through
Yeah that happened a week or so ago.
Seems those who purchased more recently are not getting an upgrade as of yet.

It's known that streaming PQ and particularly SQ is worse than physical, but most of the strange reasons given by disc fans to justify to themselves overpaying are spurious. If you only have a handful of discs then I suppose you'll have time for extras - but in fact with digital various upgrades and additions appear after purchase quite often.
The actual problem with Blade Runner on digital is the PQ is poor with DV (lacks contrast), and in fact one of the worst Ive seen and a shame given what a good film it is.
Hang on, you can build up a collection of any format for a decent price if you have patience. The only big advantage that digital (more specifically iTunes) has, is that the studios are reluctantly doing free upgrades to 4K. Obviously you're not going to get that with physical. Also, how is it spurious to want to have the same options digitally, as you get on physical media? I have no bias towards physical or digital. I just want digital offerings to catch up. I have a much larger catalogue of digital films than I do physical ones. But there's no doubt that studios seem to offer a LOT more on their physical offerings. There's nothing spurious about wanting digital to offer more. I want to be able to get rid of my physical collection, not be stuck with parts of it because I simply can't get it on digital. (edited)
BTTF Trilogy wasn’t 4K back in June, the physical release isn’t even out yet and it’s only just recently turned 4K in the US via iTunes.
Looks like It wasn’t. I was mistaken.
It's all good. Your HD trilogy should be getting an upgrade to 4K then
Happening more and more often and is so frustrating. Not easy to remember what you have bought all the time 😡
One improvement I desperately want to see, is a way to organise your library. It's so frustrating that you can't for example, keep all of your Disney movies together, or Marvel, James Bond, etc. Even the Nolan Batman trilogy don't appear together. Kind of frustrating and it seems like it would be something so simple to implement.
You pay for slightly better visual but vastly superior sound. The difference is night and day. I buy both formats but for the movies I watch over and over and want that cinematic impact I always buy physical.
No one watches a UHD film all day every day so even disc fans have to manage with HD or even SD for most viewing - streamed 4K is a big improvement for many people. (edited)
It’s not that one on sale unfortunatley. It’s a documentary.
Agreed, with Atmos if it doesn't already have it
