They will also post to Northern Ireland. Strangely mine came via an Amazon courier, even though Amazon themselves refuse to deliver any power banks here

All these power banks died after just few months of use no matter the brand

I doubt you’ve tried all brands. Within a few months, still under warranty so no issue.

Thanks, difficult to beat that price for something from a solid brand name. Specially if the 10%-odd cashback slips through.

Edit: Ah, doesn't look like there's any PD charging? Just says Input & Output 12W wired? What does that mean exactly? And one of the reviews says it charges wirelessly at 8W-9W. They are weirdly vague about the specifics.

I dunno, seems good but not supporting PD seems a bit like it's dated out of the gate. If it's chiefly an emergency backup you'd probably want to charge it as fast as possible as easily as possible, right? If you plug this into a PD charger will it just do 12W flat, or what? (edited)

12w input and output are very slow for both, charging the phone and charging the power bank itself. Wireless charging at 8-9w is also slow. Wireless charge is also inefficient, making it even slower. This power bank is good for those who want a slow charge to protect the phone battery. Saying this, wireless charge has an impact on the battery even when it is slow wireless. And yes, as it is manufactured to charge a device at max 12w, and to charge itself at max 12w, it does not matter what charger you use, it won't go above the manufacturer specs 12w. (edited)

Who is buying anything less than 10000mAh?
    EndemicAlarm's avatar
People who want something small and lightweight. 5k is enough for a phone for the day, 20k is enough for a laptop. 10k is the redheaded stepchild for me, personally.

Nah, they're just rubbish at writing at their products up. Halolock is even the name of their iPhone Magsafe-compatible copy, I've got one of their rings stuck on my Android case.

watch video with this while charging it and the drain from the screen and video running will probably outpace the charging! cool idea though. still hot, good deal.
