This guitar has just dropped, it's a pretty big deal for the guitar community as the original Tom Delonge Stratocasters are very rare and highly sort after. Fender have just reissued this beauty from the early 2000s. Every website is selling these for £1,299 whereas Peach Guitars are selling these models for over £100 cheaper than everyone else.

£1200 for a Mex strat?! I thought the Gibbard Mustang was overpriced but this is next level.

Going that way ...you have some epiphones heading in that direction as well

And there was me thinking that post Brexit American trade deal would mean cheaper guitars! (edited)

Nothing screams Punk rock like a £1200 guitar!

    Heard of supply and demand?

Yeah I just got the email about these ....for the money perhaps a bit too niche ...though his 335 remains quite popular

Seen a lot of fender 'artist' guitars shoot up in value since release ..always regret not buying the Graham coxon tele when they were cheap ..and the Wilko one for that matter ..it was 400 quid on release !

    ..not so sure on these

Yeah I know you shouldn't buy with a view to selling later etc ...but it's worth taking into consideration

Reckon you'll see these discounted quite a bit a little later down the road (edited)

Discounted how much? Won’t they sell out quick?

I mostly agree with what OP said but a word of caution... The new Mexican JagStangs have killed the values of the nineties Japanese originals.

That is one messed-up looking Fender.

It should come with a tone knob and locking tuners for £1200.

I don't think another nob is necessary if someones paying £1200

50661373_1.jpgYou don't fancy one of these for 2 and a half grand then (edited)

How much were these originally £399-£499??? Pity my wages haven’t increased this much in those years

Just buy a proper Stratocaster and sell half the parts.

V cheap. We have about 5 of these already but a few more won't hurt.

Had a play with a Sire S7 recently and I’d seriously consider that if you’re looking for a strat without breaking the bank. (edited)

So much money for such an unversatile guitar. Why would anyone buy this?
