    Yes if you are prepared to go down the path of no return, but then the 4K would be better for that journey.

    I'd say the best way to go for future proof is the 4k version.. This is a good price but going to be outdated before long..

    In my experience, Firesticks don't last much longer than a couple of years anyway. Even with regular cleaning of the cache, the CPU seems to grind to a halt before too long.
