Alpkit Glint sunglasses at 40% off!
This is part of Alpkits "biggest ever sale" - they have a couple of big sales throughout the year (normally to make room for new stock), but I haven't seen 40% off before!

Product specifications:

The Glint Full-frame polarised sunglasses are designed for outdoor activities, particularly in alpine and trail environments.

product specifications:

  • Full-frame design
  • Polarised lenses
  • Suitable for alpine days, trail activities, and cycling
  • Comes with 3 lens options
  • Category 3 rating
I paid £50 for these and i'm tempted to get another pair as a spare.

I couldn't read my bike computer with polarised glasses, weird colours.

You don’t use polorised for riding outdoors. Use photochromic lens must for cycling

So did my dad. He bought 3 pairs because they were cheap. The frame on them all started cracking in the same places 2-3 months later.

Half-frames avaialble at the same price too.

Does anyone have experience with these glasses? Worth it, or cheap tat?

I ordered some half-frames, they just look a bit smarter and dont foul your line of sight to cycling computer. Will report back on quality.

While I like alpkit, cycling glasses in general are a con. The same sort of thing on AliExpress is around tenner, with vat and shipping included

Does anybody know of a prescription insert for these type of cycling glasses?

At the moment I just wear my standard prescription sunglasses but would be nice to have the same practicality as a proper pair of photochromatic cycling glasses!
