The GARDENA Hand-Held Spreader M is ideally suited to delivering fertiliser and road salt to small areas. The spreading material quantity is set directly on the ergonomically placed handle.     This is not suitable for my need but voted hot.

    However I am looking for a Broadcast Spreader but they are very few options and are highly overpriced. Any recommondations?

    I bought the Gardena "Spreader L" recently which works well for grass seed and lawn weed and feed. It's not cheap but good quality.

    Eye candy, but pretty useless as the distribution rate will depend on how fast you walk, how high you hold it, and how fast you crank the handle. There's also the problem of controlling distribution over paths and borders. Far better with a wheeled spreader.
