    Gone for this, my employer gives 8.5% discount on H Samuel gift cards, so cost me £607.56. TopCashback tracked at £14.52 but not really expecting that to get paid.

    The main appeal of this watch over the Fenix series is the OLED screen and this time the watch is available in all three sizes whereas the previous one wasn't, I have small wrists so the Epix has been out of contention for me. There's a new HR sensor and improved GPS accuracy as well as a number of other features.

    Speaking as a 6s Sapphire owner though while the OLED screen does look quite pretty I don't think it's worth the upgrade for me at the moment especially as the Garmin selection of watch bands for the smaller size is still absolutely abysmal.

    I know the battery life is less than my current 6X Pro, but the ability to have multiband for Chicago marathon is a game changer for upgrading in my opinion

    As said this is not the sapphire at least it has multi band. I believe there is also storage capacity difference?

    I think the only other difference is pre-loaded maps, but you can load those yourself.

    Great deal for such a brilliant new watch. I sometimes wish that I hadn't bought my Forerunner 955. Not because I don't like it but it makes it a lot harder to justify splashing out for another, even more expensive, model.

    Sorry to be a pedant but I think that it would be helpful if the OP could correct the statement that this model costs £929 on the Garmin site. It doesn't.
