You might wanna put blue light discount in the title as this price isn't available to most.

i went through perks at work and was able to get this price, if anyone has that

Ooh tempting. Still a lot of money for a radar, light, camera but people I know who have them swear by them.

    i wouldn't ride without a radar now... i'd buy this if i didn't already have a radar

Avoid. Just buy the radar version.

Great price! Shame the device takes a hammering in most online reviews that I've come across (both for Software annoyances to bad video capturing for a premium product)

The varia radars get good reviews and that functions really well. The rear camera is alright but there aren't any outstanding rear camera options, cycliq has their own issues and some versions may not be as waterproof as required.
It is the only option that combines radar and camera, it's too expensive as list but cheaper that separate camera and radar at this price

Read that a lot of people prefer the radar only one and don't really rate the camera.

I think the issue is that it has no stabilisation.

I have just bought the radar/light version from here. Very good price and an extra 10% off when you subscribe to the newsletter. The rear light is impressively bright particularly in the day mode.

What are the benefits of these radar lights? I'm sure it would play havoc with my anxieties being constantly warned about traffic causing no danger at my rear.

its the advance warning that something is approaching from behind, and it can also detect how many vehicles too. for me, it gives confidence in knowing that once the last 'dot' on my head unit has passed and the unit goes green again, it gives a nice 'relax' moment. it really comes in to its own when it is windy/lots of wind noise and you can't hear vehicles behind. personally, I've not had any false positives and very, very few false negatives - they are amazingly accurate. (for info, i have the radar+light one, not this one with the camera.) (edited)
