Check that your empty ink cartridges are on their list of acceptable ones
Pick up a recycling envelope in-store (envelopes are included automatically when you buy Tesco own-brand cartridges) or download one from The Recycling Factory website
Insert the cartridge and fill out your details, choosing either up to 125 Clubcard points per cartridge or a charity donation of £1.25
Drop the envelope into the recycling unit in your local large Tesco store
There is a limit of 100 cartridges per Clubcard account per calendar year.

The Recycling Factory will decide whether or not your cartridge is in a suitable condition for recycling, and you need to agree that it can throw away your cartridge if it does not pass its tests.

The amount of cartridges that never get credited into points,it's hardly worth bothering with.
Something fishy going on at that factory.

I have a shoebox full of empty ink carts that they can have.
I'm just happy knowing they won't be going into landfill.
    Great !.

Echo comments made earlier - rarely do points get credited without calling customer services. Outrageous that this keeps happening - so even though its a great offer it rarely pays out so voted cold (edited)

used to sell on ebay for over £2 each but recently for some reason prices have gone right down ,so might start doing this now

Do they also accept HP instant ink cartridges? I can see that these might be harder to reuse so would they still award points for those, even though the cartridge type might be on the list?

Yes - but you can also check on the site

The scheme itself is a good idea, unsure how it's a deal though. It's been running for several years.

Been waiting a while for mine too, put 7 HP ones in about a month ago, could hardly fit them in the slot the container was that full. Keep checking but have no points yet

I am still owed for 16 cartridges. This is over 4 months ago now. Doubt I am going to get them.

Shame they only take some HP and Canon ones for points but good to know I can still send others so they don't end up in landfill! Heat added OP.
