    Has anyone else noticed the Google speakers have gone massively down hill over the last few months?

    Absolutely. I own 2 Google home's and many Alexa devices and the Google devices just seem to be getting worse like Google has given up on them. I find my Google home less smart than Google on my phone although I don't know why that would be the case when I'm signed in to the same account. The sound quality on these is also inferior to Alexa devices.

    I bought the Google Nest Audio hub from these guys for £21. It also came from the US. The sound quality is far superior to my Echo dot 5. The only thing I've noticed is that it is unable to make phone calls. It's always looking for Duo and says the other party needs to have Duo too.

    I’ve only had my first Amazon Echo, a Gen 5, for a few months and I can’t believe how useless they are after all this time.

    Since Amazon’s spat with Google, which means they’re unable to support any Google services, and we as consumers, are paying the price!

    The echo has its uses for Amazon’s closed ecosystem, ie Ring, or shopping alerts, and in theory this could change as the industry moves to Matter, but unless, you use these, I can see the these offering more, in the future. (edited)
