Pixel 4 XL much bigger better screen and larger battery and easier to hold if you have large hands! Still a few more months updates as well.

It's E.O.L now. No more updates (edited)

If you unlock the bootloader and flash one of many available custom roms, then for years to come.

You have people saying phones are too big.
You have people saying phones are too small.

If the phone is too big then why purchase it?

If the phone is too small than why did you purchase it?

    The mind boggles.

Brilliant phone. I have the 4 XL. Still using it as my daily driver for over 2 years now and it's been a fantastic experience. The face unlock on it is just something else. It is super quick

Haptics are nice too. Lot of people don't mention that. Google do haptics very well.

Wish Google went back to 3D face unlock. Maybe for the Pixel 8? (edited)

This. I've moved from a Pixel 4 XL to an S23 Ultra recently and while I love the Samsung, I really miss the face unlock on my Pixel.

Awful battery life, super slippery, no expandable memory, no palm rejection (this makes it a huge annoyance to use), screen is way too rounded looks ugly, passable camera.

Palm rejection on a flat screen?

This was a great phone when it came out. I do believe it worth this price. The issue is the battery was poor from new, so a big risk buying used Pixel 4.

Just change the battery. The most decent budget phone (that wili not see another version update) are £99-140.
This will run circles around them in
    UI performance
    Camera performance
    Gaming performance
I would buy this over the best sub £140 budget phone the Redmi 10 2022 everyday of the week and change the battery. You have plenty of time during the day to top up charge the phone.

    Does this still receive updates?
