Though £85 upfront, some may prefer the zero upfront, but i Guess a lower monthly means less increases come that dreaded April (edited)
First one wouldn't stay connected to the mobile network.
Second one wouldn't focus the camera, and the gyro was broken.
Third one came externally damaged out of the box.
I eventually got Google to give me a refund after 7 months of ownership, and because I'm a glutton for punishment I'm not hoping that the rumours about the Pixel 8 Pro price aren't true.
The point is that if I'd bought the phone through an intermediary like Three, getting it fixed/refunded would have been even more difficult. At least Google will send you a new phone so you can copy your data over before you send the old one back, and you aren't without a phone while you wait 28 days for Three to do turn round and say they couldn't find the problem.
