Man this deal is really hard not to take but I really want a pixel 7 pro or larger. Hopefully we get a decent 7 pro deal for a little bit more than this.

    Any similar deals available now?

nothing as good. The Uswitch one for £580 with a £100 currys voucher is closest atm, but i'm holding out (edited)
  4. Raiper's avatar
    Cheap lol

The price will increase in April, however still good deal. (edited)

35 quid cheaper than the BT sim free price

Google must have ordered a huge amount of these phones and with the recent drop in sales the only way to get rid of them are big discounts. (edited)

Where is it so cheap on BT can only find 599 deals!

I'm already on Three. Any way to keep my number without having to port out to another network first?
  7. vassy4u's avatar
Cheaper than buying sim free ?
  8. LeebC's avatar
Could take this out and just cancel the SIM?
    BorisK's avatar
You can if you pay 336 quid.

    Crazy price

Is this a better option to the Pixel 6 from the same retailer! Works out at £29 upfront and £14 per month for 24 months!? Thanks in advance.

Edit: The pixel 7 works out at an extra £50 upfront! Sounds like a no brainer!? Thanks in advance. (edited)

Yep, it's an extra £50 overall since they're the same price monthly.

I'd say it's only an incremental upgrade. However, for an extra £50 you get an extra year of Android updates and security updates.

Both are very good deals, but I think this one has a slight edge. Oh, and this has 100GB data instead of 30GB on the other, if that matters.

Amazing deal. Really tempted to go for it even though it's not the frugal option for me at the moment.

Have had my Xiaomi mi10t lite for 2 years and 3 months and just signed up for for one of Lycas 99p for six month sims. Squeezing the last use out of the Xiaomi and enjoying a 99p contract is the sensible thing to do but the pixel is so tempting!

Hopefully this sort of deal will still be around in 5 months time. (edited)

also a 0 upfront and £18 a month deal there for £432 total.
    joelfl2's avatar
Honestly, you're better off paying the £79 upfront for £14/m. Obviously it's going to increase but it's going to be cheaper overall. The difference could be greater if inflation is worse in December. In reality, the difference should be about £30-50 over 24 months considering inflation, depending on the amount.

I would go through the calculations again, but I've already made an example post on the Pixel 6 deal which a similar situation applies. But, over 24 months, expect to pay at least £465.64 with the upfront deal, or £497.20 without. That assumes it starts from today and inflation is 0% or less in December 2023, but 3.9% (without CPI) is added regardless. Factor in the cashback (£35) in that if you want. (edited)

Ordered cheers. I bought daughter the 6a on the deal for £220 last week but I think this is the better option for full fat 7. Will sell the 6a.

I think I like my P7 Pro overall, but low light shots and battery are a bit of a drain

The April increase will spoil this for me, seems like a great price for now though and I already own a Pixel 7 (amazing phone), looking for another for the Kids.
    hashim0786's avatar
How much are we looking at from April and from next April would u say and what would total cost of contract end up costing to the predicted one?

    Thanks
  16. Gorillasan's avatar
What is the actual increase in April?
    joelfl2's avatar
    14.4% (10.5% CPI from Dec 2022 + 3.9%). So it'll be £16.02 from April.
  17. CharlieTaylor's avatar
Are all these deals going to be pulled in April then and replaced with others that are 14% more per month? If not it would definitely be worth waiting a couple of months to avoid it
  18. KeelingH's avatar
In the real world is this a better phone than the 6.
    stevoRenno's avatar
Yep, might be too much detail but its 1 better!
  19. joelfl2's avatar
Was this a pricing error? Because it seems to be expired now. :/
    razo's avatar
Flash deal. Only lasted a couple of hours, same as all the iPhone deals
  20. matthlock's avatar
Gutted. Too slow deciding on this, camera glass issue put me off
    joelfl2's avatar
There's still the Pixel 6 offer if that interests you. It's £50 cheaper for the whole term of 24 months. While it's 30GB instead of 100GB, it's still a very solid deal.

I was looking at the Pixel 7 with ID was the £26.99 deal which was eligible for the Versa 4 promo and had the potential for £75 cashback. I was put off by CPI + 3.9% raising the price twice during my term, and also camera glass shattering reports (while probably very rare) popping up around December.

Damn best deal, never mind got the other one last week.
