Trouble with Amazon trade in is that you have to send the phone first, then get value added along with any bonus and price can change at any point before that happens, good deal nevertheless

If your phone is being grossly undervalued (despite the guaranteed £125 top-up bonus) & if you don't mind the extra hassle, it may be best to buy a secondhand one in the eligility list costing £20-30 & trade-in that one instead of your better phone. Then sell the latter separately to get back considerably more overall. (edited)

People seem to be having a different experience with the trade in boost to what I had.
I was able to use the "trade in and save" option which then valued my S7 edge at £22. I then added the pixel 7 to basket where I had £125 trade in boost credit and also had the £22 valuation credit to take off the pixel price.

heated. there aren't enough 256GB deals for this handset.

I have always wondered how do people get by with 128GB hand sets (not a heavy fone guy) but would have though pictures and videos would zap up that 128GB if not the Android os and apps on it and some of these fones don't have memory card option.

I want to Love the Pixel 7 - but just had to return mine. Phone is ace, screen, camera, nice clean OS. Can make and recieve calls, can send texts - but doesn't recieve texts unless it has 100% signal.

This is a nightmare when SMS is used a 2 factor authentication.

Put the SIM back in my old Note 9 and everything works as normal.

Is that a common issue? Or you think thst was. Your handset? What troubleshooting did you do? Thx

Do you think the lack of of telephoto lens and macro lens(?) on the 7 compared with the 7 pro is a dealbreaker? I am ready to upgrade from my oneplus6 finally, and am having that last minute doubt of picking the wrong one.

The 90Hz max display, absence of aptX-adaptive codec support and slow charging are the deal breakers for me. The lack of telephoto is a shame, but the Realme GT2 Pro, OnePlus 10T & Moto Edge 30 Pro - the other obvious options at around this price - don't have it either, and the Oppo Find X5 Pro telephoto doesn't have OIS. I'm not a gamer, but play games with my daughter occasionally when she's at her mums, and 90Hz isn't good enough even for casual gaming.

That said, the Google experience is pretty good, the OS is smooth, the display is bright and sharp and the camera is otherwise very good. Pixel 7 isn't quite the full package for me though unfortunately.

Sounds a great phone but come on over 1½ hours to charge my old X2 pro take just over half an hour to fully charge..

Some browsers don't display it. Try their app or another browser / device...

Anyone know what to expect if i didn't actually send a traded phone? An iPhone 5 with a broken screen is valued at £0.48, I'd rather not spend £20 to buy one

You’d be saving the £19.52 loss on buying the phone, but you (presumably) wouldn’t get the £125 trade-in boost. For me it said I’d get that boost on receipt of traded-in device. Others seem to have said they’d had boost taken off during order - as trade-in is also contractual I’d guess there’s a decent risk in that case they’d debit your account for the £125 in Mid-March if they hadn’t received anything for the trade-in. Gone now it appears. Out of stock from Amazon I take it.
Strange they don’t seem to have got any of the models back in stock considering how large a company they are. I’d have thought they would get stock all the time.
