Thought this was a little better than Google store direct.

Info added by

  • 6.1 inch OLED display
  • 64MP triple camera
  • 13MP selfie camera with flash
  • Google Tensor G2 processor
  • 4385mAh battery with battery saver
  • Assistant voice typing

The Pixel 7a goes even further with built-in smart functions. Send texts and emails with just your voice and simply say Answer to pick up an incoming call or Stop to silence the alarm going off.

The Google Tensor G2 processor in this Pixel 7a packs a punch. It gives you amazing performance, helpful features and high photo and video quality. Plus, there are some Pixel-specific tools like the Magic Eraser that effortlessly removes distracting objects from your photos, or Face Unblur that fixes out-of-focus faces. But with the 64 MP camera system, you won't need that much. And because the OLED display runs at a fast 90 Hz refresh rate, everything will feel nice and snappy.

Good to know

- Don't worry about a bringing a charger, this Pixel's got an all-day battery life
- You can record 4K videos with both front and rear cameras
- The Titan M2 chip is dedicated to keeping your data safe from attacks
- With Google Assistant, you can compose messages, answer calls, and so much more, with just your voice
- The phone is IP67 certified, so it doesn't mind a bit of water or dust
- With 5G connection you can have super-fast internet wherever you go

Don't fall for the enhanced trade-in trap, some people didn't get it after many weeks of chasing,

FYI Carphone Warehouse trade-in is different from Currys, despite being the same company. Currys accepted my IMEI while CW would not.

50157409-3D5DT.jpgJust bought one today from BT shop for £225 with code they sent me, got my Pixel 6 last year less than half price too. Not sure that it's available to everyone, I'm an employee.

Charging speed is crap if it's the same as my 6A.
    dkj255's avatar
Think it charges at 21W same as the regular 7, which should be a tiny bit faster (a minute or two), but it'll still be dog slow to charge to full. Don't buy any Pixel if fast charging is a must.
