    In the market for a action camera for travel filming, professional and personal (Personal to film theme parks).

    Any recommendations you fine people can recommend? Been researching day and night but I have no experience with these kinds of cameras.

    Current plan was to buy a pre-owned bundle of the camera I pick.

    To be fair any GoPro 8 and above will suffice, you can typically get one Used Off eBay for cheap. It all depends on what you want the video quality to be and other stuff such as Water, Dust Resistance rating, battery life.

    A couple of model versions old now, but this is still a great camera. I've got a 9 and 11, and to be honest I use the 9 more often! £219 is a good price.

    Seems like GoPro are about to stop selling these. The Hero 8 was removed from sale about a year ago. The Hero 12 will be out next month, which will reduce the price of Hero 10, which is a much better camera. I had both. The Hero 9 was really buggy and crashed a lot. Hero 10 is a lot more reliable.

    No but depending on what you're using it for the improvements are not necessarily noticeable.

    Not really. Hero 11 Mini specs are much higher. But this Hero 9 has screens and a removable battery. If that's important then this is a better choice.

    Recently bought the hero 11 to replace my go pro 5 its very good and can do some clever tricks but much bigger, I still take my 5 zipped into a tiny case which just slips into my pocket and produces fine video.

    I'm also curious about this - currently have a 7 Black which is.....ok, not amazing but does the job. At this price I'm tempted to upgrade to 9 if it's a step up in video quality.
