I have been a Gunness drinker for 40 years and have drank it in all forms. I got one of these at Xmas and bought 24 of the quite expensive cans to go with it. It was a bad mistake. The Guinness does look my like a pint you get in a pub but the taste is awful. I am back on my usual draught Guinness in a can which is far cheaper and much, much tastier.
    Save your money.

You can use it on a draught can too but let the pressure off the can first. Worth a try if you already have one.

West indies porter is lovely. Probably my favourite. I find the foreign export stout a bit too full on.

Always worth trying another Nitrosurge can from a different batch as Guinness is always best as fresh as possible. I wouldn't have a pint out unless others have before me.

If you got a bad can you should complain too and give them the batch number.
Worth trying another can but the West Indies porter is good value by comparison and I like a bottle over a can anyway.

How is this a deal, there's literally one on the shelf?

There’s three in plain sight in the photo, there’s another8 hidden under the overturned one and in the box to the left

a 20% saving is good, but imo it's a waste of money and just a gimmick.

Ignore the doubters. This has been marketed for good reason. It is the best option for Guinness outside of Ireland. Most UK pub Guinness is terrible anyway (I've yet to find one that is anywhere near like Irish stuff).

Infact I had a pint of pub Guinness the other day and it wasn't as good as this from the Nitrosurge.

The reason Guinness tastes like S*** anywhere in the world apart from Ireland is that in Dublin they can use water from the Liffey*. Elsewhere they have to use sterile water due to health and safety.

    * This is because of Grandfather Rights (a legal term saying that as they have always done this they can continue to do it.)
Why does this make a difference?
Just think about what goes into the Liffey.
    Everything goes into the Liffey!
This gadget will maybe make the foam taste different, but it won't change the taste of the pint. The only decent pint of Guinness you will ever get will be from a pub in Ireland. A good reason for a trip to the Emerald Isle.

Thanks John184. I have tried it on a draught can and a pint does look better but the taste is not as good. (edited)

From what I understand you can get the same effect using an ultrasonic cleaner

Yep that is correct. It is more about the can than the device
