Comments are that this is very low to the ground and the frame sits in much of the storage area reducing the space beneath more than expected. It also has a cloth base beneath. (edited)

Had one recently. Bed slats are rubbish on it. Had to return it after they started to split and bend and straighten twice (even after replacement set).

Got this but eventually the gas lift mechanism begins to bow. Luckily I got replacements but they had the same outcome

I bought the Heathdon version of this which is fabric rather than faux leather. Paid nearly £200 after discount but can see it's now available at under £150! I was dubious about this being so cheap but I've been really pleasantly surprised. If you build it right and take your time like I did then it's rock solid. The ottoman function works really well and I find we have plenty of space for shoes and storage bags etc. Yes the base element that rests on the floor is fabric but as it's not taking any weight it doesn't matter. Also found the bed very comfy with our IKEA mattress on. (edited)

I remember the days when habitat was a high-end, respected furniture manufacturer. They really sold the brand name down the river. (edited)
