You buy a Henry once, then you never need to buy another vacuum again. I have one of the oldschool ones. It's been with me at least 25+ years so far.

Stick with it. I bought one recently and was saddened that they’ve sacrificed the build quality. Still better than any cordless vacuum but definitely not as heavy duty and powerful as the one you hopefully still have

I have a Dyson V8 Total Clean and a Henry Hoover Blue version whatever that is. The Henry is heavy and awkward to move around, in fact I just don't like it. I feel sorry swearing at it and dragging it violently across the carpet because of it's happy face, but yeah hateful things.

Better to get this version of the wet & dry one? I remember when we had water getting into our car having a wet & dry vacuum was so handy. But can you just take the bag out of a regular Henry and use it that way anyway?

Don't use as a wet vac. Made that error and it was smoking badly and had to be binned. It's just not designed for it.

Do yourself a favour and grab a rotary head for carpets your shoulders will thank you as the standard head is quite difficult to use on carpets and rugs, love a Henry and as others have said they literally last decades and outstrip a cordless Dyson at every turn

All the air powered brush heads I've tried haven't been good at all.

Wish someone would make a rechargeable powered head for normal vacuum cleaners.

I have both the Henry and cordless Dyson. I find that the Henry is best as my main vacuum for all over the house, and the Dyson is effective as a quick clean for the trail of mess my two year old leaves for me.

Hey , Thanks for sharing your find as your first deal post to the community ! A good price for a hoover that pretty much is like marmite, you either love it or hate it ! 300 heat and counting is a really good job for your first deal , If you happen to need any help/assistance on site, please feel free to reach out to me by tagging me @.... or by dropping me/the team a message!

Got this to replace my Dyson. Place has never been cleaner.

At one point, I thought I clogged it. Two days later it was fine.

Your Dyson must have been broken. Our cleaner uses a Henry, and we have to use our Dyson after she’s gone to get the rest of the dirt left behind!

    Good price.

I have one for workshop and one for normal house use which replaced a Dyson.

Could do with old school wattage but they're easily good enough.

However, voted hot mainly because you called it a vacuum cleaner

Great vacuum cleaner had mine for years

My Dyson v10 is just gathering dust (pun not intended) after I bought one of these. Super machines that rarely clog unlike the useless Dyson it replaced. Bought mine from someone who only used it twice and it was boxed and virtually new for only £50. (edited)

That’s right. I purchased 1 in January this year for £99 Tesco clubcard price.

Who don't love Henry. Had a Hetty too. Back to Henry now for the last decade.

Good find Sharp07 !. FWIW - Henry is quite heavy and the metal pipes can be very difficult to remove and un-ergonomic, especially when using attachments or trying to shorten the pipe, they also hurt a lot if you drop them on your feet!. The long cord is very handy though.

    Best vacuums ever made !

The 200 extra and 370 xl plus is £10 more (you can sell the rotary brush off for more if you don't need it).
    jamiethind's avatar
Is the rotary head interchangeable with the standard head?
  16. Spectre786's avatar
    This is much much better.

Also does this come with 3 year guarantee?
