this is pointless at 90" compared to getting an 85" tv for same cost. the 85" samsung frame 2023 can be had for this much at the minute. Whilst not amazing picture quality, it'll be better than this projector and you needn't worry about the fragility of having an ALR projector screen with a projector below it. If you have a sound system, then UST projectors are a pain as you will struggle with center channel placement. Get a tv! Even at 100", id take the 98" TCL TV over a projector. Think a projector is only worthwhile if going 120"+ and you don't mind mediocre brightness and shocking contrast during the daytime (if ALR screen + UST PJ).

Point of reference: I had the epson 4k ls500 and a 100" optoma ALR screen. (edited)

Great deal with a screen to, just a shame it’s only 90 inches

Interesting. Saw a YouTube video about these screens that only take light from below due to slants. Really good.

Great price considering you get the screen too

Just bought a 86inch LG mini Led TV from John Lewis for £1799, based on the brightness of the TV and only the small size upgrade on the PJ, I'd say, go for the TV, if the PJ was 120 inch, then definitely a choice to be considered.

The freeview play is worth that alone

An 85” TV for less than a grand would be absolutely awful!

Any decent 85 or 86 conventional TV would provide a better picture than a projector.

If you’re going to have a projector you need to be looking at a 100” screen at least otherwise you may as well just get a normal tv.
