The Rpha 70 is available at this price as well, more sport-touring and with a drop down sun visor. I’ve got one and it’s pretty quiet.

Both are discontinued now so some great deals

Brilliant helmet, have used one for the past 5 years. It's is a race helmet so not the quietest and you'd be best to go a size up than normal but honestly at this price you really can't go wrong.
What's crazy is you'd still pay £600 for the exact same one with a different paint scheme 🙈

I have two, great helmets, i have a COD one that i love, and agree a size up usually as very tight.
I paid 379 for a plain black one and £499 for the COD one, so great deal. (edited)

Each to their own, but I will never buy another HJC helmet again. It was not this model but was a HJC which I thought was a great helmet for the money. As it came with anti fog insert, had a front visor clip which i thought was handy for high speeds, as had a visor flip open on the motorway before

The helmet lasted about 18 months and even just for weekend rides not daily use, before the clip on the front snapped off the visor even though i was super gentle when using it (google it common problem). The visor started getting lots of hairline cracks in it to the point it was making it hard to see out of, and finally was much louder on wind noise compared to previous helmets i've had.

Now it sits in a cupboard and only comes out on the odd occasion when go karting.

I want to get in to riding motorcycle for summer, do I need to buy my own gears for taking lessons? I'm totally new and late to motorcycling.

Depends on the school mate, for CBT I used there gear apart from a pair of boots and jeans, but then actual lessons needed your own gear for it, if you speak to the school you like the look of they’ll let you know how it works for them, hope you enjoy.
