Think it's more of a vehicle locator than an actual tracker, mines coming tomorrow, will add more information when I find out more.

It needs your phones gps as a trip tracker, so I'm not using that function as it's no use to me.
It's more a battery level monitor, battery tester and alternator charge tester.

This is NOT like an AirTag. It's a battery level monitor and a trip tracker, but you can only contact it if you've got the app open on your phone and are within Bluetooth range.
Yes it can track your trips and remember where you parked, but only by using gps on your phone - in which case, just use google maps on the phone for that...
I bought one as a battery level monitor and it does that ok, but still only talks to you if youve got the app open on your phone and are stood next to the car.

Yes very deceiving. To be a tracker it would have to have a GPS + sim card. This is over priced tat that will probably end up wasting more battery.

If you're looking for a battery monitor I'd recommend Xparkle 👌

The last time I saw anything like this was when my black box car insurance had expired. I took it out of my car and smashed it up with a hammer.

Isn't using an old phone with a cheap contract SIM, hardwired and hiden in the car the simplest and cheapest way to track your car?
    speedygonzalez's avatar
Good idea. Think there are also a number of versions of reasonably well reviewed SIM based trackers on AliExpress for under £20.

I've got one for monitoring my battery as I don't use the car much. Ancel bm200 and for that it's great. Stores data so when I connect it downloads. Not tried the find my car. Cost £18 iirc. There's various ones best way to tell apart is the app images.

Although the Ancel bm200 is way more expensive.

If it has to be in Bluetooth range to track your car I'm sure you would be able to see it.
