I wouldn't. I'm a 9, have 3 pairs of Hoka's all 9, all fine.

Vibram soles worst branded soles I dealt with but tempted anyway as I don't have Hoka yet. (edited)

There’s a black gore-Tex version for £80 in the 10.5 if they’re any good, link in description. Bargain

Voted hot - but no use to me as I am an 11 for speedgoat 5s. Also, beware that these are narrow fitting. Fortunately for me and many others they are also available in a wide fitting - but not from Hip Store. The soles are super grippy and great to hike in but the downside is that the lugs wear down quickly.

Having had both speedgoat5 and mafate 4, I prefer the mafate, when they can be bought at a similar price (RRP is 20 not than for sg). Feel a bit grippier. I wore out mafate 2s, they were nice.

A brilliant trail shoe. I actually really like that colour. My previous pair had to be a much bigger size but I may try on somewhere else to check fit to see if sizing has changed.

Mafete feels a very different type of shoe. I love them too but much more for snappy trail runs than ultras like the speedgoat.
