Very good, just beware that they do bow in the middle of shelves with heavy loads - not such a problem unless you have full size boxes that struggle to fit. They also stand quite a distance from the wall if you have skirting boards. I would go for wood/metal shelves next time, but these would be fine for for lighter loads.

Voted hot. I bought two from them at same price 2-3 months ago . But once opened they were damaged inside so had to return and get new ones. So please check packet and see pieces are not crushed and broken inside.

I got these, not the easiest to construct but simple enough once you figure out the tabs aren't always straight!

tek-monkey5 m ago

Not bad, but I'd rather pay the extra fiver for metal.

Given the plastic shelving I have is bowing, I’d second a metal option, which I will hunt down when able.

Been back into store this evening, and there is a whole load of Xmas decorations etc. at 43p. The Mrs. bought so many, I think she must be doing the tree in Trafalgar Square. fill yer boots.

If they as last year's stock will they go bang?

Banbury. They were just putting a few bits out. More to come soon apparently. I would imagine each store will be reducing whatever they have left from last year? I was pleased with the two bags of manure I had at half price as they were split. Crackers a nice extra.

£18 in Wilkos. Dulux is far superior to the crown PBW, that stuff is absolute toot. Voted hot because I bought it at this price 2 days ago, before seeing it in Wilkos.

Doesn't look like a good deal when they are selling 10 litres of Crown for £12.
Having said that, neither seem to be highly rated for their covering ability.

Screwfix has Leyland TRADE contract matt white/magnolia far better product, it will more than likely save you a coat against using this coloured water mush. £16.99 for 10l if buy 2 £15.29, buy 3 it drops to £13.59, great deal and it covers!

The smaller tubs seem thicker, and cover better than the 12L tubs, however both cover far, far better than the 12L Magnolia; which is as thick and opaque as dish water

I bought Johnstone from bm for a tenner silk one was 17 though
Don't know if it's any good as I painted twice in my life

As the others have said. Can't see how Crown are getting away with selling this rubbish. Waste of time and money.

Agree with others this is bad paint. Used it recently on a ceiling and it is just so thin that you spend way longer than you need to get a half decent coverage.

As a decorator I've used both when customers are buying and both are worse than useless. Do yourselves a favour and buy Leyland trade emulsion from screwfix, £17 for 10L. It costs a little more but won't take 3 coats to cover the old paint, plus it won't crack in the corners either.

I Agree. It's false economy, you have to put 3 times the amount on. It's really not worth the time.
