I have two off these (although this looks like a slightly newer model) as well as a Dyson V15 absolute detect. Personally I prefer the Hoovers over the dyson for day to day use.

Pros: they are lightweight, easy to take apart to clean/fix, good amount of suction with the boost mode, brush turns off for rugs (dyson can't), perfect in handheld for stairs/furniture/cervices, battery quick releases to be charged elsewhere/changed if runs out, stands up so can move things around without putting it away/down and It stores in a small form factor (again upright and no need to drill anything in walls).

Main cons are the dust compartment is quite small (helps with the weight) and short battery life. However, 20 mins from a full charge with the brush seems more than enough (I have extra battery for longer cleans) and I empty the dust compartment frequently anyway. Also I don't feel worried about getting it dirty as it is so easy to clean. Whereas the Dyson I only use in the living room for normal dust and it can't be used on the cowskin as there is no brush off option.

Now in context, I bought these both in September 2022. Red single battery on deal for £89 and Green double battery showing as a deal for £165. Only difference to this version seems to be the Anti-twist head.

The Hoovers have been used a lot, especially with the pets and I can't really fault them for the ten months we've had them. wear and tear wise, everything seems okay apart from one losing a bit of rubber on the handle (shows the excessive use). The battery life hasn't really deteriorated either, no one has felt like it is running out before we are done cleaning. I really think Hoover outdid themselves and this was needed to get back in the game against dyson/shark. (edited)

Unfortunately Hoover has fallen behind with technology and survived by having a well loved brand name from the past
So I'm not knocking the deal but would want to see a lot of good genuine reviews before leaving Shark/Dyson ect to buy hoover again
