Be lucky to get these!! Same with the 'SALE' items they had the last time.... emailed me saying cany source stock! Used to love shopping in HOF but will never buy from anywhere owned from FAT CASHLEY

House of Fraser seems to have good deals but after reading trustpilot reviews I won’t buy from there.

And that's why I won't shop there!

Cheers OP, bought the red ones. They're 🔥

Thanks OP - just ordered.

Will pay no more than £10 for a belt but HOT 🔥 for price abd brand

Got any links to alternatives?

Bought this belt from Amazon a few months ago, fell apart within weeks and went back for a refund, you are just paying for the brand on this, quality is better on cheap own brand belts.

Many moons ago (when I was a mere whippersnapper in sales) I used to wear a lot of branded/fashion labels. Most of it fell apart pretty quickly.. This belt on the other hand, is still going strong nearly ten years later.

ASOS say 4cm (lol)

Yeah, I think so! Seems the HoF deal is done anyway, so that's not a bad alternative find.

Charging for c&c should be made against the law. These lot (Ashley and co) ought to be put up against a wall and shot !!!!!!!

Even the direct link isn't showing up for me. I'm just getting an oops this page cannot be found message. Tried to a search for it and couldn't find it there either. Stupid question but as I don't use it, it's late and I've had a shandy too many is it the same stuff as this?

Let's hope they don't go bust again after ordering. Still lots out of pocket after the last fiasco

Linea Men's merino wool jumpers - various colours, sizes, v-neck and crew neck £12.00 (+£4.99 delivery) House of Fraser
Posted 13th MayPosted 13th May
There are various colours, sizes, v-neck and crew neck. These are great jumpers.I bought some a few years ago and I'm ging to buy some more now.
Get dealGet deal

They do charge a £5 delivery fee to store but you get a £5 store voucher. I found a lambswool jumper, instore, reduced fro £40 to £12. Then I used the voucher for a £5 dscount. It is worth it in the long run and the jumpers are great.

They introduced free royal mail returns in 2013 or 2014 and removed them some time later. My point was you can return everything (well, nearly everything) to store which wasn't always the case, so they still meet my criteria for online clothes purchases. The lesson here is check the returns policy before placing every order, never assume it is the same as it was at some arbitrary time in the past.

I'm not playing fast and loose with anything. They used to have free returns via Royal Mail, regardless of the brand of goods you were returning, so I think your claim that their current returns policy is "better than they used to be" is the only fast and loose representation of the facts going on here. My recent order with them included items on their excluded list, as I hadn't realised that they'd removed the free Royal Mail returns option since my previous order, and the only option to return these items now was to go to a Hermes Drop off point or pay for Royal Mail myself.

I think you are playing a bit fast and lose with the facts. Everything (except Eve, Furniture, rugs, luggage, wallpaper, wall art, paint, Arthur price and ready made curtains) can be returned in store. These excluded items have their own collection services. That seems pretty good to me. The free MyHermes collection service cannot be used for these excluded items or excluded brands you have highlighted (probably because these are drop shipped direct from them and not Debenhams), but the delivery note will have return instructions. I thought this was always the case; I bought come craghoppers clothing from Debenhams years ago and remember there were some return restrictions then. Alternatively pay by PayPal and activate their free returns offer where you can claim the costs of up to 12 returns per year of anything paid for by PayPal. This works very well; I used it to buy some specialist ski clothing and equipment which is only available from a few sellers in the UK.

Is it this price in store ? Delivery is a rip off refuse to pay it

Charging £5 for the privilege of having to travel to one of their stores to buy their products? They must be having a laugh.

Make sure you read the delivery and returns conditions - "It's important that any items returned to us, unless faulty, are returned in a re-saleable condition. We would like this to mean that you've kept all original packaging and labels, and that it's unused. We would recommend that you return your items via registered post (you will need to pay for delivery which is non-refundable unless faulty)."

Bought 2 a year ago and both shrunk when washed and were unwearable.

Thanks - stopped my purchase after reading reviews. Helpful

Still got my fraser bear from 2002. My kids love him

Ah true! Hopefully you can just buy them in store for £3.00 which I imagine you can. £4.99 C&C is a bit crazy.. I'd rather pick it up for free!

Mike Ashley's influence is starting on the company's operations..... As that's the same as sports direct (confused)

Its not quite a free £5 voucher though is it, given that even for C&C you get charged £4.99 - they are effectively locking in that £5 forcing you to then spend it in store - and good luck finding anything for £5 in the shop. As for the teddy its nice, so that in itself is a good deal - wish they had free C&C :)

Yeah but agreed, high streets changed from decades ago. For lots of a mix of reasons. But this ridiculous charging Your Own Customer to pick up from Your Own store in the age of internet shopping is a step in the wrong direction. It's not really defendable.

It’s not killing the high street, adding money to click and collect hasn’t done it at all. The internet has helped that along with rates, greedy landlords and charity shops pushing up rents while not paying rates. but it’s also the evolution of shopping no one said a thing when supermarkets opened out of town shops killed off the local butcher baker and fruit and veg shops ran by small businesses the main stay of the high street. Reality is high street started to die 30 years ago, I saw it first hand a small family business killer off after 35 years. Charging for click and collect didn’t do any of that.

Yes. As said, so sad It's greed plain and simple. Day light robbery, killing the High Street.

Debenhams are all delivered overnight after getting picked at a warehouse as well, dunelm do in store pick up but their stock system is shocking. Can’t remember which one it is but one even uses a courier to send from the warehouse to store. Once ordered something from B&Q went missing at the store their online system said no stock in store and no one even bothered to check just waited for me to come in and break the news. Went in store and found they actually had about 20 in stock.

Most of the time they do. Shops like Debenhams, House Of Fraser and Selfridges have the items in stock. On the rare occasion that’s not the case, they have wagons going from shop to shop with national stock deliveries that could easily transport items and absorb the cost. This is just ripping customers off. Plain and simple. It’s greed like that that’s putting people off using shops and resulting in them ordering online.

Was really shocked to see slazenger and Lonsdale at local HoF :D

Stopped buying from here as soon as they went into administration. The state of the site is shocking since the takeover, not stepped foot into the store since though.

Chav tastic

The website is shocking now. It’s slow , it has product showing as available then you go to add to bag and no size is available so actually why is it being advertised as it never comes back to stock. Filter by size and it gives you the wrong size. Since it’s been sports direct I have ordered one !!! When it was free delivered and hof I would order weekley
