About this product

HUAWEI Band 6 is a smart band with a color screen, water resistance of 50 meters, full touchscreen, and a side button. It integrates features such as workout detection, heart rate monitoring, workout assistant, sleep tracking, message notifications, SpO2 monitoring, and music playback control.

HUAWEI Band 6 has a 1.47-inch AMOLED FullView display, with a 148% larger viewable area, and a low-bezel 64% screen-to-body ratio. Combine that with the high-resolution 194 x 368 display with 282 PPI and you've got something really impressive to look at on your wrist.

Change your watch face to reflect your mood. With a huge variety of watch face designs to choose from, accessible through the HUAWEI Watch Face Store there'll always be a face to catch your eye. Swap them out with a simple swipe, and even use your own photos. Always put your best watch face forward.

The endurance athlete of the wearables' world, HUAWEI Band 6 offers an incredible 14 days' battery life for typical use, and 10 days for heavy use. When you do run out of battery, no problem - you can get 2 days' use from just 5 minutes' charging time with a magnetic charger.

Keeping track of your heart rate is one of the best things you can do for your fitness and health. TruSeen 4.0 heart rate monitoring technology uses an optical lens and AI-based data processing to accurately monitor your heart rate 24 hours a day.

Band 7 is fantastic get about 2 weeks of battery with every setting on and linked to the phone via Bluetooth all day. Very good spec too for the extra bump in price

Tried a NFC version of a Xiaomi band 7 recently with no joy because it was NFC only offered in China. I would stick to Samsung or similar for NFC if it's a must

Great watch. Much better than the full feature ones.
I had a fossil gen 5 or 6 cant remember. It did everything but battery lasted a day if that which made it pointless really.
I swapped it for a band 6 and not looked back. 14 days of battery life and does exactly what I need. Bought the 7 for my brother for christmas and he loves it, he wanted an apple watch and he is more than happy.

I also had a fossil as my first smartwatch. Wouldn’t even last a day most days. Put me off smartwatches, so this seems more promising. Thank you.

Since the government disagreement with Huawei their wearables are only fully functional when using a Huawei phone that has got the latest Huawei app gallery and the latest Huawei Health app.

Even after side loading the Huawei app gallery and the latest Huawei Health ap to my Xiaomi phone data is not transferred from my Huawei watch to my phone..

Because of these problems Huawei watches should be much cheaper than they currently are.

I’m happily using mine with an iPhone. I even have music control on it which previously was only on android devices.

My Fitbit charge 4 is dying is this a good replacement ?
    keithg118's avatar
Yes had mine over a year now now problems found it better than my old Fitbit

Mine broke within 5 months went into a reboot loop; seems to be a kinda common problem. Seems like moisture gets in via the button and messes with the electronics. Id stay away. The app also has to be updated via a 3rd party site not play store and with their reputation didnt want to risk it.

same issues, so i went with the xiaomi mi band 7

Been using this watch over a year now. Very pleased with it and it gets everything I need done. Battery life is also great

Price is a bit high as I got it for £32 on Amazon in October/November 2021 but I guess that's inflation for ya (edited)

Can you suggest a cheaper price than this available now. Or the band 7

    Great price.
I paid this price nearly a year ago but I had bought in a bundle along with scale for £55.
Battery lasts ages and accuracy is as bad as any Samsung watch. For £35 this is built like a tank.

Had mine for about a year, excellent! Very good battery - charges to 100% withing half an hour.

Great my dad lost his mii band 6 and wanted a replacement but not necessarily the mii band 6 so he has ordered this. He only wants it for time, step counter and basic things.

Will this work with the Nest doorbell app. I had a Mi band 6 which would vibrate when someone was at the door, useful if you don't have your phone glued to your hand. I've tried a few from Amazon but sent them back because they didn't have this feature
    Grant_C's avatar
Yes you get doorbell notifications from nest on my band 6

I got an expensive Garmin but I'm scared to wear it in case I brake it, need a cheap one that I wouldn't mind breaking, this might fit the bill, a ban 7 with NFC would be better but I can't find one on a reputable site
  25. BigStart's avatar
is there any options with NFC enabled ? To be able to tap to make payment, using Google pay, paired with android ( pixel 7 pro)

I looked at Mi band 7 and 7 pro but seems like only Chinese version has NFC enabled ?

I don't care about the brand as long as it's working fine with my phone and has a sleeping tracker of some sort.

Even a watch is fine, guess little difference between a band and watch apart from the bigger screen

any recommendations would be much appreciated (edited)

No NFC (got mine today however not from this deal) seems ok so far, step counter appears accurate for the little testing I’ve done. Not tried sleep tracking but I highly suspect it wont be great in terms of tracking stages, theres a video on YT about the sleep tracking accuracy conducted by some science guy and he rated it low.
  26. Lil6ix's avatar
After owning this for a few days I have found it to be pretty buggy.. I think it integrates better with Android though.. I’m on 37% battery after 4 days with no exercise tracking also and as expected, sleep tracking isn’t great. (edited)

How does this compare to the Mi 7 or mi 7 pro ? Mi bands seem to have significantly better battery life
