Effectively the same car, but IMO looks nicer ...£700 more, but 7 yr warranty and the more powerful 1.5l engine

Had this car for the past 9 months and it's perfect for us. Family of four with plenty of space for a dog and luggage. Power is more than enough. The wheels shown in the pic aren't what we have as standard. (edited)

My friend had to use a similar car as a taxi after his 3l Mercedes was written off, he said never again would he use this car.

1.0L engine for a car that size

Cant believe on one website we have so many engineers, scientists, physicists with so much free time on their hands

I currently have a courtesy car i20 with this engine. It's an absolute shed of a car, and you've got to wring its neck to get it to do anything because of the very high gear ratios. It might have a low consumption on the test cycle, but in real life its really not that frugal. A bigger engine with fuel saving tech like cylinder deactivation or Budack cycle running under low loads would be more efficient than a 1.0 with tall gearing that's working hard all the time.

I know this is a great price but come on people is getting a new car worth having to get something so ugly and slow. Put the same £20k into something a year or 2 old and your still getting warranty but something at that price can be really nice, economical and not as slow as a bus.

I really want the n performance version looks great

Looks like one of those cars dad's with 3 kids will drive

Just wait for the flood of bargain cars next year, 2011/2012 all over again
