    I’m assuming this won’t fit in a ps5?

Think the PS5 needs PCIe 4.0 Gen 4 with 5500MB/s speed so it will physically fit but doesn't meet that requirement.

Every NVMe deal needs a PS5 question, DRAM, TLC or QLC inquest.

    Does this have DRAM?

Almost at my £50 sweet spot!

One of the very few QLC NAND drives worth buying (as it has DRAM cache), decent price too (Amazon are matching everyones favourite 'banned on HUKD' etailer).

Very good as an OS/Apps/Game drive, just don't buy it for long term write intensive tasks, like video editing. (edited)

What would you suggest for video editing? To be used in an external 10Gbps.

Currently using an SN550 that seems to work well.  Also got a couple of T7s. I need some more drives now for bigger projects and looking at my options.

I'm just looking into media nas drive options for plex storage, to move from off site to on site solutions. Currently need around 5tb of storage.

Is nvme a good option or should I stick the mechanical drives?

You can go NVMe but would have to make sure you get drives with very high endurance (not QLC drives like this Intel).
Seagate Furecuda's are a good option, but a bit pricier than others, or any other good TLC drive with DRAM (DRAM cache improves endurance but drives without can still be good enough). (edited)
