Does anyone know if you can sit on one/use it as a stool? Many thanks

Nope. One of my in-laws sat on mine in the garden and broke it!

Hiya, I’m looking for a plastic storage box to put my blue bag in that contains paper and card for recycling. I don’t like leaving the bag out as when it rains the contents get soaked and I’m looking for something when I’m away the bin peeps can access it as at the mo I miss when they come by as I’m not in.

I use this as a parcel box so should be ideal for your needs

Shocking quality - lasted about a year. Both lids knackered.

That’s most Keter boxes to be fair

    Very poor products.

These are excellent. They can be used as seats but obviously the average UK citizen is getting ever larger because of fast food, sugary drinks, lack of exercise, lack of care for their personal appearance and health, and the Kardashian-inspired delusion that they really can wear whatever clothes they want regardless of body size. However, you must brief those wishing to sit on them (including large children) that they shouldn't throw themselves onto them with lateral force - the strength of these rely on compression, so be like an elevator, up and down only.

    Terrible longevity

I have one for parcels and it’s perfect, paid around the same price at the time. Not the strongest but does the job very well. I glued some wood to the inside of the lid to make it stronger and heavier so there was no risk of it lifting in the wind

Good company, have a shed, tenants destroyed the lock - keter unfortunately don't sell spares but did send replacement free of charge.

Did you charge the tenants for it?

Got one for parcel delivery’s so the post man doesn’t put it in the bin. Perfect for that but not the most study product

I don't know honestly what goes through some posties heads. Just hid it near the bin? I feel like 🤮 when I see them put it in there.

Do these do well with urine on?

I've been using one of these boxes for years, no issue with quality, damage or water ingress which was reported on reviews prior to ordering. I just throw garden toys, balls and slippers in mine.

It would seem fair to deduce that the quality of these were moderately-significantly better in the past.
As with many things, the quality gets worse over time while the price remains the same or increases.

I'd go for Strata storage boxes instead - British made
