About this deal

Bit of a niche one here I guess, not in the fact it's a gaming monitor per se, but because its 1440p 24" high refresh rate which is a bit of a rarity.

Not the highest spec display out there by any means but there are only a handful of similar monitors on the market. So you don't really have too many choices.

Good price in my opinion, if you are ok with 27" + there will be better options out there

This monitor its amazing. Its an great update to my much loved AOC 24g2 a 1080p 165hz that my mum now has "aquired" lol.
I bought mine on release as a second monitor and to play fps games games on but Its also great for work at the text is pin sharp. The PPI is something else
A 24-inch monitor with a 1440p resolution has a PPI of around 122, which is significantly higher than the PPI of a 1080p monitor of the same size.

PPI at different resolutions and screen size
    24" 1080p is 92
    24" 1440p is 122
    27" 1080p is 81
    27" 1440p is 108
    27" 4k is 168
    32" 1440p is 96
    32" 4k is 138

So this rare sized monitor is 3rd on the list for best sharpness.

Response times are also really fast.

If you do go for this monitor, use his suggested settings. there is also a 2nd different monitor make using the same panel (edited)

This is quite tempting, I'm just not sure if the performance loss of moving to 1440P is worth it for me yet :/

Any idea how this compares to the AOC Q24G2A/BK? I've been so close to biting on that one for a while as someone completely set on 24" gaming..

So from some previous research I believe they use the same panel so should be within the same ball park in most areas.

AOC are a more well known brand so their build quality, returns & warranty could be a potential upside but I'm not 100% on that.

    Is a 1080 165hz for £80 good?

The 27E1QA is a pound less on Amazon. Is that an older model?

i would avoid this, got a similar one from KOORUI and a week later the pixels died and lines appeared on the screen

    similar is not the same
    Which one.

All monitors regardless of make need to be reviewed
Most monitors regardless of makes use the same panels as well (edited)

I bet this looks awesome; 1440p @ 24" is a great pixel density.
