Preparation

Hob: From Ambient
To heat through drain and rinse well. Place peas in a saucepan, cover with water and heat on the hob gently to required temperature, stirring occasionally. Do not boil.
To serve cold simply drain and rinse.

Best Before End: See End of Can
Store in a cool dry place.

Once opened transfer to a suitable non-metallic container, cover and keep refrigerated. Consume within 2 days.

    Asda's "Just Essenitals" chick peas are 45p a tin, and I can't tell them from regular priced ones.

    If you want to save money, buy that raw 1kg bag and soak them in water for 12-24hrs and a bit of bicarbonate soda

    Exactly what I've been doing with beans & pulses I used to buy in tins before. I cook a god amount & freeze them in containers. Price rises have been way too much & can't justify paying so much more in a short time frame for something I used to buy for half the price.
