Product details

If you're looking for a straightforward radiator, then check out this one from Kudox Premium. The steel panel radiator is a simple solution for heating homes, offices and other living spaces. With its plain white finish, it will fit seamlessly into rooms of all colours and wallpaper styles.

This Type 11 radiator delivers a good amount of heat for its size. As it's a horizontal shape, the radiator will easily fit on a wide range of walls, such as beneath a windowsill or inside a small bathroom. The white (RAL 9010) nanoceramic surface coating gives the radiator excellent protection against oil, dirt and water, as well as scratches. This means it will stay in tip-top condition for many years. For added peace of mind, it comes with a 15-year manufacturer's guarantee.

• White central heating convector radiator

• Pre-fitted top grille and side panels

• High heat output performance

• Brackets and fixings included for easy installation

• Nanoceramic surface coating (RAL 9010)

• Maximum working pressure of 1000 kPa / 10 bar

• 15-year manufacturer's guarantee (T&Cs apply)

Which brand is better Kudox or Barlo or any other? Or does it not matter?

I’m looking to replacing our Type 11 radiators with Type 22, so help warm the rooms up quicker.

I’ve had a look at Screwfix and Toolstation, but any other places that I should consider?

surely black is a more suitable colour to radiate heat?

To absorb heat but that's not what you want a radiator for

Do yourself a favour and buy aluminium ones, much better in the long term

Not really. Apart from looking better and being possible to get in fancy shapes they don't offer much other benefits as you still need to pay for corrosion inhibitors to stop them corroding and popping a nice little leak on your carpet.

    It is, I don't think i've ever seen a radiator that's only 1ft tall

I read Steel Panther radiator and was ready to buy 8 of these. I must get my eyes retested.

Good price but would go with at least type 21 instead. Got one of the type 21 a few months ago for the same price.

400x 1100 type 22 for £49 before delivery: mrcentralheating.co.uk/rev…-k2 (new here, if direct links like this etc not allowed srry!)

Why here do the majority put radiator thermostats almost on the floor, but in other countries at the top of the radiator where they are easier to access? (edited)

I think it's easier to run pipes under suspended floors than through walls (easier to make good when central heating is retrofitted) so will traditionally enter and exit at bottom of rad.

And I'd guess you'll want to avoid entering and exiting at top as you'll not get as much mixing from convection? (edited)

IF you're interested in saving £, don't buy a type 11 radiator. Type 22 or 23 are the only radiators worth buying with these prices!

Quality controlon these radiators is poor and they rust for fun, I almost sliced my hand cleanopen on one because of the poor finish.
