Lakeland Dual Basket Air Fryer With Easy View 8L

Product number: 27211

We all know air frying is the healthier way to fry your favourite food, using hot air instead of oil to get the taste you love without all the grease or the calories. But with two separate baskets for cooking different foods at the same time, the Lakeland Dual Air Fryer takes cooking to a whole new level, letting you get twice as much out of your air fryer in the same amount of time – time-saving and energy-saving, what’s not to love? And it'll help save money as well. If you're a family who loves a weekly chippy tea, you'll save plenty of pennies by treating yourself with a Friday 'fakeaway'.

Dual baskets with easy-view windows

While most air fryers have just one basket for cooking one thing at a time, this clever machine has two 4 litre baskets for cooking two different foods at once - and you don't even have to turn your 'proper' oven on. With a clear window on the front of each basket, it's easy to check on your food's progress as it cooks without letting the heat out just to sneak a peek. Depending on when you want each dish to be ready, you can programme the baskets to finish cooking at separate times, or at the same time, so both dishes are piping hot and ready to serve together. Fish without the chips, anyone? We didn't think so!

Not just for chips

When people think of air frying, they usually think of crispy-on-the-outside, fluffy-on-the-inside golden chips. And while it does indeed cook perfect chips, from thick-cut to skinny potato fries, it’s so much more than a one-trick chip wonder. From chicken wings, seafood and juicy steaks to pork, onion rings and even cupcakes as well as being perfect for frozen foods like french fries and scampi, it’s hard not to be impressed by its versatility – Evie from our Buying Team successfully cooked up a full English breakfast in it!

Pre-set programmes

You can set both baskets to cook at custom times and temperatures or, if you prefer, there are eight pre-set programmes to choose from, which are easy to select at the touch of a button:

Steak functionChicken legs/wings functionSeafood functionFish functionPizza functionFries functionBake functionVegetables function

Synchronisation end function

Just select the synchronize setting when you have selected to cook with both of the crisper drawers.

The taste you love, without the calories

Air fryers have become quite the cooking sensation over the last few years, and it’s easy to see why – by circulating hot air evenly from every direction, it cooks your favourite foods using little to no oil, meaning less fat, less grease and, perhaps most importantly, fewer calories. You can fry up to 500 grams of crisp, delicious, guilt-free home-made chips with little or no oil.

Easy to use

The multi-functional touchscreen panel is really easy to read and use, with separate screens to display and adjust the cooking settings for each basket and the eight pre-set functions which are clearly displayed across the top. The baskets are non-stick so food is easy to remove and they’re easy to clean afterwards too.

Easy to clean

There’s no messy oil to change and less of the odours associated with traditional deep fat fryers.

Air fryer accessories:

We also sell air fryer liners to go with your Easy View Dual Basket air fryer (available to purchase separately):

Please note: paper liners must be used with caution due to high air flow. Food has to be added to any paper liners before the air fryer is switched on.

Hi folks - how hot could this reach? I see it’s 2700W but what does that mean in, is it 200, 220 or 240 Celsius? (edited)

If it doesn't say you can bet that this goes to 200c like basically all air fryers except Ninja, which can go to 240c. Please bear in mind that air fryers cook the majority of food so much quicker than an oven so in reality 200c on one is kind of the equivalent of maybe 220c-230c in an oven. The 2700 watt power rating (higher than the Ninja Duals) suggests this won't be working so hard as others with lower power ratings to get up to temp., which should aid reliability. (edited)
