so this is monthly plan which is £5.90, but first for 6 months its £1.99. I can cancel it anytime right as this is monthly contract?

My daughter is with Lebara and gets 5GB for £4.95 a month. She only changed to that a couple of weeks ago so, whilst the introductory offer on this is decent, the ongoing rate isn't terrific
    It was this deal hotukdeals.com/dea…708

Yeah was going to say this, was one of the deals I saw too. Would rather a better ongoing rate as will probably be on it for a while. Can get some topcashback with Uswitch too (edited)

It’s amazing how these deals fluctuate. I got 12GB for 1p for first six months and 4.90 after that I think.
    mojo911's avatar
I think it is 6.90 after 6 months

Anyone ordered a sim from Lebara and hasn't recevied confirmation email? I ordered like normal and after clicking Pay Now, it just takes me back to the Lebara homepage logged into the MyLebara account. At the same time, also received two emails about the MyLebara account but nothing about my order

Very nice deal for those with low or moderate data requirements while making the full use of bundled minutes etc. This deal from MSE also seems to beckon that 1p deal is not coming back for foreseeable future 🔥

    can you keep your number

    All networks support number transfer

Would anyone know if this is available for existing Lebara customers?

I have only just joined Lebara so can't really comment on the coverage etc.
However, the deal I got was mentioned on this forum and a few folk were saying .. when their contract ends, they transfer their number to a free Asda SIM for a couple of days, then join Lebara again as a new customer, so can get any new deals.
    I am no expert though

What if I just want a 2nd mobile number just for sign ups , deals offers etc & don't need calls data etc
Is this above deal the cheapest or a PAYG my best option?
Looking for a cheap nano sim for an iPhone 5s

If it's only incoming calls/texts you need just get a free SIM from Three or ASDA, they'll work without topping up.

If you need outgoing, RWG mobile gives you a limited number of free calls/texts/250mb data every month for a one off £5 top up
  11. Blade3's avatar
It's exactly that I need so I've got a 2nd active number for any sign ups deals so I get 2 bites of the cherry!

Three or ASDA both sound ideal, got online account for Asda shopping so that might easier for me

Don't really need outgoing, RWG mobile sounds like a really good fair deal too

    Thanks t3r4

Don’t do it, I’ve had nothing but trouble since transferring. Still can’t get texts or phone calls.

I've had issues with calls too. Silent on my end but clear on the other

I don't like using the word scam because I haven't lost anything but this is twice now Lebara very craftily taken the offer off of me.
I recently signed up for the 1p per month offer for 6 months (still only monthly contract) for unlimited and 10gb.
Too good to be true? Well it seems so. After about 3 weeks, I tried to make a call and a voice said I needed to top up!
I checked my account and 1p had been taken from my account 3 times and twice refunded. Plus 3 X £9 but nothing had actually been taken for them. I had the same happen on another deal. I honestly can't be bothered to call them. Has anyone else had a similar experience with these deals?
    fauxdigger's avatar
They switched my plan from the 1p per month for the £6.99 MSE plan (posted on here) to a 1GB month £9 per month without me doing anything. The first month it just showed as a debit followed by an instant £9 top up refund. This month they just took the £9! I got offered a "goodwill" refund on their online chat, but I'm not convinced it won't happen again, or whether I'm back on the 1p for 6 months deal.

I'm currently using a lebara sim card, after buying this, can I keep using my old number?(Can I transfer the contract to my old number?)
  17. mikerr's avatar
I have a lebara sim that I no longer pay anything monthly for, but it still gets data and I can send a text or two .

Is there a free amount each month added ?

I'm looking for a monthly sim for gsm module for electric gates. Anyone know of any cheaper ones under a fiver. The problem with PAYG is that after 180 days they die out if not used.

RWG mobile have a £15 one time payment sim that has 750mb of data and a few minutes and texts free every month

When delinking a sim from and account, does that SIM lose its promotional plan?

I need to do some housekeeping on our accounts and want them linking to an alternate single account, but don't want to risk losing the plans on the Sims, as they aren't available anymore.

trying to get it and it always changes to 5.90 at checkout page? Ended up paying 5.90 yesterday and then just got it cancelled. Trying again now but still shows 5.90.. Using brand new email address if that helps! Asked CS if they could offer the deal over the phone - the answer was no.

wonder what am I doing wrong ? thanks
