sorted byThe larger items like the AT-AT, AT-TE came in an outer box and great condition.
Smaller items like champions car were slightly squashed - they tend to use Yodel I think,
There is an interesting debate perhaps about the condition of Lego boxes. I think if you are collecting or mean to sell them on then a mint condition box would be desired. If you are building it, then I don't think it matters too much if the contents are not affected, Again it depends on your use, if you are keeping then I will flat pack the box and bag up the pieces (I am one who will reverse build the set and bag them in numbered bags - such as the Sian spent 4 weeks making it, displayed for 10 mths and dismantled in reverse order in 1 day).
I have to add though that I'd agree Amazon are getting bad for packaging Lego too. I've had small sets arrive in bags now as well or boxes that are way to big without padding so they rattle around the box and arrive damaged. (edited)
