I received an email from LEGO today saying that they’ve cancelled my order… ;(

I'm not sure. Look at the tumblr, classic batcave. Even ewok village and sandcrawler sell for little above rrp. It's all about finding the right set, Indominous Rex for example.

because Lego own Lepin? Very clever move.

Heat :)

Thanks to the original poster. Just picked this from the Liecester Square store. A few more left on the shelf.

LEGO Creative Storybook 40291 FREE when you spend £65 @ Lego Shop Free postage when you spend over £50 online.

We bought a jurassic world set yesterday and got both the free Dino set and the storybook set (in store).

It seems that the promo for Jurassic Park has ended. I’ll update the listing now. :D

I don't see the promo for free Jurassic Park set. How do I get that?

Any idea if this is available in store or if it's online only?

They normally go on there in a week or so

LEGO® Star Wars™ Darth Vader Exclusive Pod - FREE with Lego Star Wars orders over £50 @ Lego Shop

Spend over £50 on Lego Star Wars at the Lego Shop, and get a free Darth Vader Exclusive Pod. Free delivery online for spends over £50. 24th May - 6th June

We all love Lego but let's face it, it's so over priced.

Not too bad if you factor in the £5 off from PayPal too and have some VIP points to use up as they give free delivery as long as what your buying RRP is over 50 and not the end bill. I had £15 to spend, so got 65 quid set (okay £15 more than Amazon), but got extra fiver off and the polybag worth at least a tenner..

Really poor value for a £50 spend.

I think they had the same promo on around about a month ago. I did check before posting (highfive)

Lego Millennium Falcon (yes, that one) in stock £649.99 @ Lego
Found 19th MayFound 19th May
This has been out of stock pretty much since launch but is currently available. Limit of 1 per customer in case you were thinking of stocking up.

I'm surprised any have been sold at all at that ridiculous price. They'll be heavily discounted and available everywhere soon enough. eBay will soon be a race to the bottom.

Lepin quality is actually better than LEGO these days. Look at the grey and yellow colours on LEGO bricks and you'll see that they are very inconsistent. I've had to return all 10 of my 75105 Millennium Falcons after 2 buyers complained of poor colours. LEGO are having serious quality issues so be careful. They are now greedy and let quality drop while they try to sell as much tat as possible.

I think someone once said "past performance is not indicative of future results" :{ Not saying this won't go either way, but best purchase lego to enjoy rather than speculate.

You’re missing the point. The article shows past performance indicates it’s likely to be a good future investment. When folks make comments like ‘I’ll wait until it’s £200’, it just shows they haven’t done their homework.... and would be waiting for former Apple stocks to devalue as well.

If you are going back in time to invest, then you might as well purchase apple stock.

Your name is an anagram of David Haye - explains everything haha

Lego Snowspeeder 75144 Was £169.99, Now £135.99 Collect Double VIP Points, Free BB8 and Free P&P

Lol am.i ***

I can't agree more! This is how LEGO mislead us. The weight should be on the box IMHO. Anyway, 20% is only because it's not selling well.

I have 2 star wars sets from China and apart from the Lego lego on the bricks you wouldnt be able to tell the difference in the quality of the product. Yes if you are a collector buy the real thing, if you are buying to put together with a young child etc. then the Lepin set is by far the best option. :|

Whereas this you could buy build and if you get bored sell it for at least £80 as long as complete so really the same price as lepin lol

Lepin also has zero resell value

Free BB-8 Mini Set with Star Wars Set Purchase of £65 20% of on Selected Star Wars Sets Double VIP Points on Lego Star Wars Purchases Offer expires on 7th May

Yes it’s just come in. He is saying about resellers that buy cheap and sell expensive on eBay, the site is flooded with them.

You get £1000 trading allowance on site like eBay before you have to pay any tax. HMRC should be cracking down on Chinese sellers with bogus VAT numbers rather than someone selling a £20 poster they got

How do you know if a reseller is completing a SA or not although technically they should have a business eBay account? I’ll let my daughter have mine like the VIP card which is selling for £100!

So that'll be about £8 after fees, postage and income tax. Yes, you HAVE to pay tax if deliberately selling for a profit. I've been grassing up volume resellers to HMRC

So you banned from silly comments on Lego deals as well then? Or gonna give us a rare deal?

LEGO give nothing away. They are relying on little Timmy to scream loud enough for Mummy to buy him a more expensive set at RRP. Not to mention the queues and overcrowding. Being banned from LEGO has done me a favour. Think about it... VIP points is hardly a discount, promos are rubbish, their box condition is getting worse and they are ALWAYS beaten on price! Sorry, cooling added as hardly a deal.

These mini build days are great and it is worth noting that there are sometimes other ones, too, to coincide with Star Wars Day or holidays, etc. If you don't live near a store, I don't suppose you will :P It's also only once a month Not strictly true. The bags these come in do not have the 'Creator' branding that retail polybags have. Perhaps Discovery Centres do sell them, but the kits themselves are not designed for sale. Worth pointing out (not just you but also OP) that LEGO isn't really more expensive, especially compared to sets in the 70s, 80s & 90s. We were quite lucky in the early to mid 2010s because Lego had failed to adjust prices for inflation for about a decade (look at the recently retired UCS Death Star and the replacement Death Star - almost £150 difference). Remember: you didn't buy LEGO as a kid - your parents did :P Interesting article here:

LEGO® Star Wars™ Darth Vader Anniversary Pod FREE WITH ORDERS OVER £50 at Lego Store

Not really surprising the two negative comments on this deal are from two people who have managed a colossal 2 deals between them in years on HUKD , says it all really.

ONE deal in two years thanks for the contribution.

Rubbish freebie in my opinion.

Lego Easter Bunny Hut £2.90 instore @ Lego London shop
LocalLocalFound 12th AprFound 12th Apr
Seemed cheap to me. Lots of stock. Also had various keyrings for £3 which again seemed well priced.

John Lewis in Reading were giving these away this morning. There's so many about that eBay will be a race to the bottom

my local Sains had them moved to the reduced section but no change of price listed, still £4 each, maybe try getting one scanned and see if redced, they had about 30 or 40

Ellesmere Port didn't have these reduced. Same at Woolton.

Yes, it's a Star Wars promotion now (20% off) at Sainsbury's in place of the Easter promo - no clearance on these so as far as I know they were either free (when making qualifying spend) or £4 in Sainsbury's, never any lower. Therefore, this Lego store offer is a good deal (at this time).

No longer on shelf. I believe Sainsbury’s stores have been told to return unsold stock (over 100 left in my local).

Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon 75192 @ Lego Shop - £649.99
Found 6th AprFound 6th Apr
Retail price I know but might help someone looking for it at the retail price.

You do talk out of your backside! This set works out at £49.20 per kg, whilst the First Order Heavy Assault Walker works out at £70.65 per kg. Hardly the "worst value Lego set ever released", is it?

At £649.99 it's utter garbage. At £399.99, I'd still have to think about it. For the weight of plastic that you get, it's officially the worst value LEGO set ever released. LEGO will vastly overproduce this so just wait until the market is flooded.

Still available on backorder so interest is waning. Those who bought to resell may struggle soon.

Lol I really don't see the value in paying the price of a TV or decent holiday for a set of Lego. But fair play to those that do.

Magazine arrived today

Sorry but cold from me. Signed up for this months ago and still not received or heard anything back.

Had this for both daughters until 6mths ago or so until Lego informed us they were stopping sending the magazines due to increasing costs. Due to ages, both daughters had a different magazine sent to them. They loved getting them and were disappointed when they stopped receiving them. Wonder why it looks like people think they can still sign up for them :/

Logged in with my own account (HUGE Lego fan) only to be told it isn't available to me (mad) I spend copious amounts of money lol I want a mag subscription! Great nephew your having an account whether you want one or not!

They've been spending less and less money on these over the years. 5 years back they used to include 3D glasses, a figure or 2 and some other gimmicks but now it's literally just a comic. Boring.

Found 16th MarFound 16th Mar
This works out at 10% off Good for the larger sets excludes UCS Millennium Falcon As stated by malm; 7% top cash backt FREE Easter Bunny Costume Mini Figuer with cardboard house

Cashback is rarely what's advertised. The reason is that it's typically ex-VAT and is reduced if there's other offers. As I said, LEGO don't give much away and I think they're in big trouble

So it turns out I did get double VIP points in the end applied to my account. However my top cash back only tracked at £16.25 when it should have been in the region of £30 plus

Yes, they'll take the points off you as LEGO want to rip us off as much as they can. Anyway, that Falcon is way overpriced and I'm waiting to pay £450 for mine. They'll be so overproduced that big discounts will be needed to shift stock. Anyhow, I think 10179 was much better and, at least, had the rear finished better. 75192 has a saggy bottom, who wants that? Cooling added

Just some Brickheadz which are now out of stock again didn't hang around long.

Yes, my local (Liverpool) said it's running until Sunday. I was told by another store that it maybe available to buy for £2.99 after that. The only reason they brought it back is because it is now a Mothers day promo.

That's instore only I think, as they still have loads of the ones left over from Valentine's Day (for which you had to use a calendar voucher).

Which stores are closing! Curious bystander here!

To be fair to Tabby he's just given everyone some good advice re. John Lewis. very helpful to those that get to this Lego store. let have some balance here. He's been candid but tried to help

Another quote from Jay "TabbyBoy" always talks bs

Why would an overcrowded store that appears to do lots of business close so soon. It is their flagship store and they like people to be queuing in Leicester Sq, it shows how popular the brand is when the store has queues outside.

To avoid the immense stress of visiting this dreadful shop, contact John Lewis Westfield and they can price match AND deliver. I just ordered 5 from there and they have 2 left. If only LEGO Hell branch would deliver to homes and NOT only local hotels. I've heard that the store is closing in October as well as the Watford branch. LEGO in trouble?
