I would want a staff member to be present when opening - could be a box full of rags

this branch has new thinkpads quite regularly. Lenovo have an office/service centre in the town. Mine was sealed correctly inside and outside the box. Has over 2 years of premier warranty remaining.

'Integrated graphics', good for 60fps mineweeper sessions , but joking aside does seem like a good discount vs retail prices.
I just wish Thinkpads had the same bulletproof build/reputation compared to when IBM produced them.

I don’t know about this device, but integrated graphics nowadays are surprisingly good at older/low settings gaming. I was always able to find something to play.

My screen has started to come off... It seems to have a clipping system but the corner that's detached won't clip back on. Also the end of the power adaptor, the USB C head won't go into the laptop. Not sure what's happened there. My purchase receipt seems to have disappeared so I'm concerned about being able to get it serviced under warranty, although it's under warranty obviously so we'll see what happens... Disappointing given this is my first Lenovo and Windows laptop coming from Apple which I switched over to for sustainability and longevity reasons, but the build quality seems to be inferior.

You've bought a used laptop from crack converters. Not sure what you're expecting?
