Personally I would wait for the Crucial P3 or P3 Plus 4TB models to go on sale again, managed to snap up a Plus model in Prime day and its been a cracking little drive

How much did you get it for? It seems to be £181.96 on Amazon right now which camelcamelcamel is showing as pretty much the cheapest it's been (just checking if camelcamelcamel doesn't record Prime day prices).

    Reviews do not look great

Agreed - I'm in the market for a 4TB drive and although this one has positive reviews from tech news sites and shows as having great specs, there seem to be a lot of bad reviews from actual consumers. I don't know if they are mostly from people who were scammed a couple of years ago when a 4TB variant of this drive didn't exist or just people with bad luck posting but seems too risky when you can pay a little more for safer options.
