Almost certainly fake…write too much, and the earlier data is disappeared. Don’t bother.

They “work” until you’ve written more data than the chip that’s actually in there has capacity for, and then your old data is corrupted.

These are low margin products, they are not meaningfully cheaper on aliexpress for a genuine article. You have bought a counterfeit / fraud. (edited)

I just got one of these at the weekend to write a 1tb image on and it's 512mb too small so it has to go back !

Because of how storage is calculated, you'll never have access to the full 1TB on the card. You'll need to look at getting a 1.5tb if you have an exact 1tb image to store

Off-topic but does anyone still have their Pay in 3 or 5 monthly installments with Amazon? Mine has disappeared recently. Also I'm not talking about the one you get through Barclays, that's still there on some things.
