On the other hand, you can buy the Lezyne Hecto Drive 500XL and Strip Bike Light set for £22.99 from CRC/Wiggle - Link And this is £7.00 less than buying the front light by itself.

You da real MVP! I just bought the 600 XL on its own for 27.50 at half price, and the set you describe is far better value.

A deal for the Lezyne 600XL Front Light for £19.99 at CRC was recently posted by kin88 on here - Link

And CRC have the Lezyne Strip Drive 150L Rear Light for £12.99 - Link

So you can buy the two lights separately for £32.98 and it's not clear if the set includes anything extra. (edited)

One caveat with these front lights is the USB rubber cover falling off. This is really annoying and Lezyne sell these back to you as replacements 👎🏻

The rubber bung holds pretty tight on mine. I can't imagine it falling off by itself as I have to use decent amount of force to get it out.

If you want to take the lights off the bike do you need to remove the whole rubber attachment bit too, or do the lights slot onto the rubber bits and the rubber stays on the bike post / handle bars?

Just thinking the rubber bits might wear out if you constantly need to take them off / put them on the bike (eg when charging or leaving bike unattended)?

Yes, you’d need to remove the rubber attachment each time unfortunately so not ideal if you need to remove them each time you need to lock and  park up the bike.
