How to choose a TV now days? It's been over 15 years since a bought one and technology has changed so much. I don't even know what to look for.

    It's a minefield.
Ask on forums and people pretend anything other than a £2,000 OLED will be so awful you'll hate your life.

My advice is go with a brand you know, google reviews and check on price comparison sites to see if it's a good deal

I suspect this model also has a FreeSat tuner, Currys and JohnLewis list the exact same model as it including FreeSat but Argos doesn't list it.

The 43UR80, 43UR81 (usually £370) and 43UR91 (usually £420) are basically the same TV.

This one the UR80 has two feet, the UR81 has a single foot in the middle, and the UR91 still has the single foot but is thinner with edge lit screen tech. (edited)

How can they be basically the same when the latter has a different screen?

Have I read your comment correctly?

I like the LGs and got an oled myself, but if your on a budget you will find a 55" or even a 65" for the same money if you hold out long enough... Admittedly quality will probably be inferior but I doubt there will be too much in it.
