The deal just got better if you go direct with LG. Check out this link to the new info I just posted. with Marks Electrical delivery is normally next day, with Lg it can be up to 2 weeks.

Could be as low as £1767.97

The bloke from LG (i did a video call with them on Friday) said that this one has mini LED doming where as the 816 and 916 had sidelit. Also this one has the extra feature of the multi screen/ side by side and picture in picture. It also has the on demand gaming which is cloud based. Have a very careful read on the Lg website and click on the PLUS buttons to see lots more features the 816 and 916 don’t have.

Just out of curiosity are these now as good as high end Samsung's for black levels/contrast? LG is an interesting alternative to Samsung and I think their OS with the Wii style remote is better too

The remote is a game changer but is like marmite. I love it on my other TVs and was one of the features my new tv had to have, my father in law hates it on his LG. It’s fun to watch him trying to use it though

go on the Lg website and book a video call with one of their tech people and the can give you real info and not what you hear in the internet. I had a call on Friday and based on their information bought this Tv instead of the 816.
