Details

This stunning 65-inch LG TV looks incredible and has all sorts of amazing tech to make your living room feel more like a cinema. It doesn’t get much better than the 4K OLED display, filling the screen with rich colours and lifelike details, and Dolby Vision IQ does all the hard work of getting the best picture settings for you. Whether it’s the processor making each frame look gorgeous, or the AI Sound Pro tech that adjusts the volume so you hear everything perfectly, you get an amazing experience with zero effort. It’s even got built-in voice control – no need to search for the remote to change channels. Feet up.

We want you to fully enjoy your new TV, so please be careful when unpacking it to avoid putting any pressure on the screen. There are a few different ways to get it out safely, so look for the instructions on the box. If you need to return your TV for any reason, we just ask that you don't pack the plug in front of the screen as it could damage the TV in transit.

A screen like no other

See absolutely everything in your blockbusters thanks to the stunning OLED display. Instead of using a backlight like your everyday LED TV, each and every pixel that’s packed into this model can light up itself. Not only does this create the perfect black backdrop for every scene, but it also brings the action to life with jaw-dropping colours and unbelievable contrasts. And when all of this works together, you’ll get a beautiful picture that shows off all the hidden details that you’d usually miss – especially in darker scenes.

Superb Dolby Atmos sound and Dolby Vison picture quality

Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of whatever you’re watching with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision IQ. Cutting-edge Dolby Atmos recreates sound in 3D, so you can hear it from all directions, while Dolby Vision IQ increases the contrast between light and dark, to create a vivid picture that’s bursting with colour. This creates an outstanding cinematic experience, for more memorable movie nights and amazing match days.

Colours just like the real thing

See absolutely everything in your blockbusters thanks to LG’s Infinite Contrast. Instead of using a backlight like LED TVs, every pixel in this model can light up itself. Not only does this create the perfect black backdrop for every scene, but it also brings the action to life with jaw-dropping colours and unbelievable contrasts. And when all of this works together, you’ll get a beautiful picture that shows off all the hidden details that you’d usually miss – especially in darker scenes.

Make movie nights better than ever

When it comes to delivering a great picture, a9 processors kick things up a notch. They study whatever’s on, working with the OLED pixels for breathtaking images that make everything from modern blockbusters to golden oldies look crystal-clear. Audio is given a boost too, because they can pick out dialogue and sound effects separately to balance everything out – no more constantly adjusting the volume.

This TV is has a LG C2 processor but with a C1 panel. Its better than C1 and B2 and slightly behind the C2. It has 4x HDMI 2.1 ports. (edited)

Basically I am looking for a tv to be used in a moderately bright room. It will be mainly used for casually watching films and series from a computer, potentially gaming at times so 100-144hz is required. OLED and Mini QLED both have their pros and cons of course but what matters is overall picture quality not just inky blacks I have narrowed it down to these but really would appreciate some input from people who know their stuff and am open to suggestions!

Just a little reminder that tv's are covered under the Consumer rights act 2015. That means they should last a reasonable about of time (6 years in the case of tvs) Martin lewis done a whole bit about it and if something goes wrong out of warranty you are still entitled to a repair or replacement up to 6 years of ownership. You usually have to fight a bit to get them to sort it out but by law they are obligated to fix the tv if you get an issue.

Many thanks for posting this. I was about to buy it for £1300 from Curry's with price match! Huge upgrade for the parents and saved us £300.

I just used webchat and they gave me a code to use to match it to £999. With delivery works out £1024 and assuming you still get the £100 gift card. I did get it for £959 with the soundbar. This deal works out £65 more with Currys and no soundbar but you get the 5 year warranty so it depends if you think the warranty is important or not.

This CS shares the same processor as the C2 of which is the model you’ve listed. The CS is closer to the C2 as it shares the same processor but with a older panel that doesn’t get as bright.

If Curry's do it for 1499,but then price match to 999, does that count as an over 999 purchase, so you get the 100 gift card too?
    ZeroTheGhostDog's avatar
    ZeroTheGhostDog
Only if you do it in the way of, ordering it for 1499, then waiting until the order is processed, and then speaking to live chat about price matching to 999. They will simply refund you £500.

Bit risky I suppose incase AO decide to increase price before you can get it matched. (edited)

Guys can I just check with anyone who has a curry’s price match code - when I try it now it says it isn’t valid for this order. Is that what you all get at this stage?

    Also format is xxxxxx-xxxxxxxx-xx
    antonyfolkestone's avatar
    antonyfolkestone
If you got it today it won't be valid until tomorrow. I got a code but think I'm going to stick with AO. Did get a code yesterday to use this morning but only took off £200. I'm expecting for Currys to make this OOS everywhere soon so they don't have to honor this price match.

Same happened to me but i persevered and eventually got the order through. Delivery Thursday. Was more concerned as I'd bought vouchers for £1020 from my employer discount scheme which if I hadn't got the order through would have been worthless. That saved an extra 6%. Quidco has tracked, albeit at 1%, but it says Currys uplift to the 7% at a later stage. If I get the £100 voucher too it will bring total payment (inc delivery) to £804. Thanks HKUD

Paid for and Was expecting mine to
Be delivered by Currys today. Got an email and text on Monday saying I would be notified when it would be available. Queried it online chat and was assured it would be delivered today. Didn’t get a window last night so went online chat again just now. No it’s not coming. Out of stock. Have raised complaint against original online chat and now have to wait patiently until
It’s back in stock and try to find another day I’m available to take delivery. Bought vouchers through an employee perks scheme so don’t want refund. Not a happy bunny

Sorry to hear about that mine got delivered on Tuesday . TV is excellent..no issues..called yesterday for 5 year guarantee and the paperwork will come by post. I am hoping for £100 currys giftcard. I paid £1014 - 100 .. so effectively after GC the cost would be £914 .. not bad for LG oled 65 inch C1 panel with 5 years guarantee
